Another Russell Wilson commercial? Subway drops fresh Dangerwich ad with Broncos QB, stepping up the corny

Russell Wilson is under a lot of pressure due to his poor play for the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are 2-4 and on track to miss the playoffs, which wasn't their aim at the start of the season. As Wilson continues to face criticism from the media and former players, a new commercial from Subway has come out.

The advert features none other than Russell Wilson. As usual, Wilson looked great, but that has given people another reason to troll him, what with his performances on the field.

Holy shit.

Wilson has often been thrown under the bus for doing a number of commercials. However, the timing of this one is not ideal. He was brought in to change the fortunes of the Broncos franchise and thus far is struggling massively. Not only that, but Denver gave up a lot for him in the trade.

The #Broncos gave Russell Wilson a $245 million contract to lock him up for 7 years and they're ranked dead last in points per game in the NFL.

They also scarified their future by giving away two 1st round picks, two 2nd round picks and 3 players.

This. Is. Bad.

So far this season, Wilson has thrown for 1,442 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions in six games. These numbers are pretty poor for a future Hall of Famer like Russell Wilson. If he doesn't get back to his usual self quickly, the Broncos season might very well be over soon.

Russell Wilson and the Broncos will face the New York Jets in Week 7

Denver lost last week to the Los Angeles Chargers and are now 2-4 to start the season. They will face the New York Jets in Week 7 who are surprisingly 4-2 at this point in the season. The Jets have been good this season and are coming off a win against the Green Bay Packers. Their confidence is high and they are intent on pouring more misery onto Russell Wilson and the Broncos.

The Jets limited Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to just 10 points last Sunday. The Broncos, who have struggled massively on offense this season, might be in for a long night in Week 7.

If Wilson continues to perform poorly like he has done so far this season, there might be a change in personnel at Denver. With so much invested in Wilson, head coach Nathaniel Hackett will soon be under pressure. The Broncos are currently a -1.0 point favorite against New York and it will be interesting to see if they can get back to winning ways.
