Antonio Brown hails Floyd Mayweather as "greatest" ever, squashes beef with boxing legend - "Apologize about emotion online"

In their heyday, Antonio Brown and Floyd Mayweather Jr. were the best in their own sports. Brown was a four-time First Team All-Pro from 2014 to 2017 and a Second Team All-Pro in 2013. Meanwhile, Mayweather did not suffer a loss in 50 professional boxing fights and held multiple world boxing titles.

Therefore, it’s no secret that they gravitated toward each other. Unfortunately, their relationship ended after an online feud. But that conflict seemed over after Brown praised Mayweather Jr. in a recent Instagram post.

Antonio Brown has nothing but love for Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The 12-season NFL veteran shared a photo of him spending time with the former boxing champion. The former Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout posted it with the caption:

“Love you champ. Apologize about the emotion online. Appreciate your being there for me always showing me love. Embracing me champ. You’re the greatest boxer ever let’s not forget that sh*tttt”

Their relationship was tainted after the former NFL wideout named the boxer as the person behind his controversial video in Dubai last October. Floyd Mayweather Jr. was in the United Arab Emirates for his exhibition boxing match against Don Moore, with Brown walking him out as a rapper.

In the video, Brown jumped up and down a pool at the Armani Hotel Dubai while his naked rear nearly touched a woman’s face. Brown accused someone named Jona Rechnitz, Mayweather’s alleged business partner, as the person who released the video.

While Antonio Brown had no solid proof of Rechnitz’s or Mayweather’s involvement in that matter, Brown also accused that Mayweather Jr.’s boxing matches were scams. He also accused Mayweather of being unable to share the spotlight with him via this tweet.

A fan asked Mayweather for a photograph. However, he suggested that his photographer can take the picture. When the fan went to Brown for a photo, Mayweather said:

“Whoa, you with me or with him?”

Brown said:

“You with us.”

Antonio Brown is facing more trouble

A report by TMZ Sports revealed that an arrest warrant was issued against Antonio Brown for $15,000 worth of unpaid child support to Wiltrice Jackson. The court order will be voided if Brown paid the amount plus $5,000 in attorney’s fees.

Jackson gave birth to Antanyiah in March 2008, making her Antonio’s oldest daughter. Brown has four more kids with Chelsie Kyriss and one more with Shameika Brailsford.

The National Arena League also terminated the Albany Empire’s franchise agreement after failing to pay league dues and fines. The team also experienced delayed salaries under Brown’s ownership.
