Antonio Brown throws nasty shade at Tom Brady days after leaking former Buccaneers teammate’s texts on Snapchat
Antonio Brown and Tom Brady have one of the weirdest relationships in the NFL. The pair combined to play with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the past three seasons, but Brown's behavior was responsible for his release from both teams.
Ever since their professional relationship came to a halt after one of Brown's biggest outbursts, the wide receiver has tried to grab Brady's attention, whether it be through some interviews, some social media tweets, or even pictures of Brown with Brady's former wife, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Brady and Bundchen divorced in October.
Earlier this week, there seemed to be a great moment between the quarterback and the receiver after AB shared a heartfelt message sent by Brady about how to face adversity in life.
But with a cryptic tweet by Brown on Christmas Eve, it seems that the good mood is gone:

When did Tom Brady and Antonio Brown play together?
Tom Brady and Antonio Brown were together for three years of their NFL careers, although there wasn't a full season between the quarterback and the wide receiver.
They first joined forces with the New England Patriots in 2019 after the (then Oakland Raiders) released Brown following a whole offseason of drama. He joined New England on a one-year, $15 million contract that lasted a single game before the team let him go amid accusations of sexual assault and intimidating text messages to one of the women who had made sexual assault allegations against him.
A year later, with Brady already with the Buccaneers, Brown signed a one-year contract with the franchise following an eight-week suspension for the 2020 season. It ended up being a great partnership: Tampa Bay reached a Super Bowl, Brady was the MVP, and Brown got his first ring; he also had a touchdown reception in the 31-9 win.
However, his behavior made things difficult in 2021. He was initially suspended by the NFL after misrepresenting his vaccination status; after suffering a slew of minor injuries, he created the most bizarre scene of the season, taking off his jersey and his shoulder pads on the sideline before running off the field midgame in a Week 17 win against the New York Jets. The team released him soon after.
Brady made a little comment about the incident postgame:
"We all love him, we care about him deeply, we wanna see him be at his best; unfortunately, it won’t be with our team"
The receiver did not play in the NFL following this incident.
