Baker Mayfield's non-profit foundation gets together for 'Giving Tuesday' with pre-Christmas celebrations
Baker Mayfield and his wife Emily are giving back to the community they're a part of. They are an active part of the same in Tampa Bay and work with their non-profit organization, Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation.
Following Thanksgiving, the foundation came together to celebrate 'Giving Tuesday.'
"On this Giving Tuesday, let’s huddle up and make a difference together. Today, we’re cheering for every organization working to change lives across the country," the foundation wrote on Instagram. "We hope you will give to a cause that matters to you on this global day of giving. 💙 If the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation is your MVP, you can donate by clicking the link in our bio. 🏈💪 #GivingTuesday."
Children from the Villa Madonna School attended the event, posing with Baker Mayfield, Emily and Santa as they smiled into the camera.
They created the foundation in 2023 and giving back to the community is the main purpose of Mayfield's organization.
"The Foundation is an effort born from our deep gratitude and desire to pay it forward, and will focus on pillars of success, resilience, and strength. We believe in the human spirit and want to help those who persevere and achieve success despite difficult circumstances," the site reads.
Their note also thanks all the communities they have been a part of, aware that they cannot continue without excess support.
Baker Mayfield and wife Emily welcomed the holiday spirit by donating
In October (during Halloween), Baker and Emily Mayfield were the highlight for donating to Meals on Wheels of Norman. It's a non-profit social service organization that helps deliver meals to those who need them.
The NFL couple also endorses them.
The organization thanked the Mayfields for contributing, appreciating all the 'love and care' they sent to the seniors and the Norman community. Emily shared the same on Instagram.
Meals on Wheels, which has been operating in Norman since Jan. 21, 1972, aims to provide people in the designated areas with proper meals that have better nutrition. They mostly cater to senior residents and disabled residents in the area.
