Baker Mayfield's wife Emily hypes 'hot dad' Bucs QB ahead of Week 2 Lions clash
Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers tore through the Washington Commanders' defense in Week 1. With four TDs to his name, Mayfield led his team to a 37-20 victory.
Mayfield's family, of course, is ready as his own hype team.
In an Instagram story, Mayfield's wife Emily shared a hype message for the QB and the Bucs.
"Hott dad," Emily wrote in a story. "GBR. Go Big Red."
The star of the story, of course, was their daughter Kova Jade.
Kova, who was born on April 3, was dressed in Bucs gear and a white headband. Baker Mayfield was holding Kova in his arms, as the father-daughter shared a wide smile for the camera.
Emily also shared some photos after the Bucs' Week 1 win. She captured some moments with Baker on the field, including his time with their daughter.
"Week 1✔️ 1-0 with our new lucky charm ❤️👼🏻," Emily Mayfield wrote in her caption.
Baker Mayfield's wife Emily was vocal about harsh realities of the NFL life
Despite all the glam and glitter, there are multiple hardships a family has to go through while in the NFL. Some of this includes changing teams and cities, where the families also have to go through the process of readjusting.
While discussing NFL's roster cut deadline, Emily shared a story from a fellow NFL wife [Olivia Carson], who spoke about how tough it can get.
"[Olivia] said it well. Thoughts and prayers are with all of the NFL families today and the couple of weeks to come. The NFL is the wildest ride and not for the faint of heart," Emily wrote.
That said, the Mayfield family is already into the new football season. With Emily sharing frequent updates with fans, one can certainly expect more sneak peeks into the family's day-to-day life.
