Bo Nix's wife Izzy beams with pride as Broncos rookie makes starting QB
Bo Nix has been made the Denver Broncos' starting QB, and his wife, Izzy, couldn't be any prouder. Always ready to support the rookie, Izzy often shares her thoughts online. After the announcement, Izzy revealed how proud she was of Nix's achievement.
"So proud of him," Izzy wrote on her story. "'Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established' Proverbs 16:3."
In an earlier post, Izzy and Bo Nix took some time to relax at Luke Bryan's concert on Tuesday night.
"[Luke Bryan] stopped by the neighborhood!!" Izzy Nix wrote.
The couple met at Auburn University and got married two months after Izzy's graduation in 2022. They even moved to Eugene together after the QB transferred to the Oregon Ducks.
They made headlines for purchasing their $4 million Castle Pines mansion. The Colorado home seemed to be their first big purchase after the 2024 NFL Draft, making fans wonder if Nix is thinking of putting his roots down in Denver.
Broncos chose Bo Nix as starting QB over Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham
Putting up an impressive performance during the preseason, many fans were rooting for Nix to be named as the starting QB. Nix, along with Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham, was a worthy candidate. Fans, of course, were mostly happy that Nix was chosen.
Some believed he could do better than Wilson while others based it on his impressive preseason performance.
Along with Denver fans, Pat McAfee hyped Bo Nix being chosen on his show.
"This felt pretty obvious if you watched him play in his preseason games. Against the Indianapolis Colts, when he got his first preseason action, he was phenomenal. Everything you saw from him was composure, leadership, his body-style, his ability to move," McAfee said.
Before the NFL season officially begins, the Broncos have another preseason game lined up against the Arizona Cardinals on August 25th.
