Bo Nix and wife Izzy detox at Luke Bryan's neighborhood show
Bo Nix may be preparing for his rookie season with the Denver Broncos, but he made time to spend a night out with his wife, Izzy. In an Instagram story, Izzy Nix shared photos of the couple attending a Luke Bryan concert on Tuesday night.
The first photo was of the stage. She captioned it:
"@lukebryan stopped by the neighborhood!!"
The second photo shared by Izzy Nix showed her posing in front of the stage with her husband.
The couple appeared to be all smiles as they spent a night away from football and the grind of the season kicks off in just a few weeks.
Denver Broncos named Bo Nix starting QB Week 1
Rookie quarterback Bo Nix had a stellar college career at Auburn and Oregon. In 2023, he had a breakout season that led to him being named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy Award.
The Denver Broncos made his NFL dreams a reality when they drafted him with the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. After a solid training camp effort, the Denver Broncos named Bo Nix the starting QB for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. The announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon.
The announcement comes just days after Broncos head coach Sean Payton said he wasn't ready to name a starter. Nix competed against former Jets starter Zach Wilson and former Raiders QB Jarrett Stidham for the role.
Nix will now be the first rookie QB to start for the Denver Broncos in Week 1 since John Elway. The Hall of Fame QB and two-time Super Bowl champion did so in 1983.
