Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios celebrated the one-year anniversary of his relationship with girlfriend Alix Earle on Monday. It was almost a year ago when the couple started dating. While many fans are aware of this detail, there's still a lot of fog around the couple's first meeting.
In the latest episode of her "Hot Mess" podcast, Alix Earle recalled her first meeting with Braxton Berrios and how the wide receiver made her go "crazy." Sharing the details of her relationship timeline, the podcaster said:
"I met Braxton the first time at the party. I think I followed him on Instagram after and he never DMed me or anything back. And it drove me crazy and I was like, 'Hello, where are you? Why don't you like me?' And he told me that he did that on purpose because he knew it would drive me crazy. And it did."
"Two weeks later or something, he got my number and I got a text from a random number and it was him. He was like, 'You left without saying bye.' And that's because I did what I always do when I go to parties and I just Irish exited and did not say bye to anyone," Alix Earle further added. (23:09)

In the Week 7 game against the Colts, Braxton Berrios suffered a season-ending ACL injury. While the wide receiver has successfully undergone surgery for it, it's going to take a long while for him to recover and get back on the field. So, Alix Earle has turned into a nurse for Berrios during his recovery phase.
In last Thursday's episode of the "Hot Mess" podcast, Earle opened up about her new role as personal nurse for Braxton Berrios. She mentioned how it has taken a major toll on her sleep cycle. Sharing the details about the same, the SI model said:
"I'm feeling pretty tired today. I haven't been getting much sleep because I've been helping Braxton in the middle of the night because I'm being a nurse right now. So, like, making sure he's taking his medicine, changing his ice machine and I'm like, I don't even know what sleep schedule I'm on. But it's a terrible one," Alix Earle said. (0:05)
