“Patrick and Travis really love each other” – Brittany lauds Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce connection after Chiefs’ duo went viral
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce have indescribable chemistry on the field. No matter where Kelce is down the field, the chances are high that Mahomes will find him. In a come-from-behind win over division rivals the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night, Mahomes found Kelce six times. Kelce recorded a whopping 115 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
The connection between the quarterback and tight end always has everyone impressed no matter how many times they do it. Brittany Mahomes, Patrick's wife, even took to Twitter to voice her opinion on the quarterback and tight end's relationship:
"Patrick & Travis really love each other."
Her tweet about the two and their admiration for each other came after the Chiefs' 30-27 win over the Chargers on Sunday night. This isn't the first time that Brittany has joked about her husband and Kelce's relationship.
In early October, she took to social media and retweeted a video of the two hugging, saying that she was getting jealous of their love.
Whether they have a 'bromance' or not, the two are playing at an extremely high level right now. If they continue to do so, they could make yet another Super Bowl run. The 8-2 Kansas City Chiefs will host the Los Angeles Rams next week at Arrowhead Stadium.
Patrick Mahomes to appear on "New Heights' podcast
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce hosts a podcast called 'New Heights' alongside his older brother Jason Kelce, the Philadelphia Eagles center.
The Kelce brothers interview fellow NFL players on each episode. In a recent episode, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts appeared on the podcast. Afterwards, fans were eager to know whether they would be able to get Patrick Mahomes as a guest on the podcast.
So, in order to find out, Jason Kelce took matters into his own hands. After the Chiefs' win on Sunday night, he sent a Tweet and tagged Travis Kelce, telling him that he needed to ask Mahomes to come on the podcast.
Patrick Mahomes replied and said that he was definitely coming on the show. NFL fans will now have to wait and see if the episode is this week or sometime in the future.
The Mahomes-Kelce duo broke even more records on Sunday night. Kelce surpassed four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski for the most 100-yard receiving games by a tight end with 33.
Patrick Mahomes is now 14-0 in divisional road games in his career. These kinds of stats will likely one day have these two in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
