Brittany Mahomes' close call while checking for unwanted guest with Patrick Mahomes: "Almost broke my ankle"
On Wednesday, Brittany Mahomes observed a mother duck outside her home. The duck was supposedly laying eggs in an outdoor area of their home, which the mother-of-two thought was sweet.
Later in the night, she and Patrick Mahomes ventured outside of their home to see if the duck was still there and if she had in fact laid eggs. As they did so, Brittany captured the moment on her Instagram story, and it didn't go quite as planned.
Brittany said in the video that she brought the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback along with her because she was afraid of being attacked by the duck if she got too close to the eggs.
Patrick Mahomes then joked that the duck was 'right there,' which nearly caused Brittany to fall down the front steps of their home and possibly break her ankle.
"Almost broke my ankle..."
The Mahomes kept investigating and found the duck still in the same vicinity as she was earlier. However, this time she was walking around.
Brittany then just gave up on her quest to see if the duck had indeed laid eggs in their yard or not.

Brittany Mahomes shared a clip of Bronze saying that they were done playing golf and that it was time to go back inside. He was lying on the ground, holding a golf club tight, in protest. She captioned the video, joking that her son just really loves playing golf.
"Dude loves golf."
Whether Bronze follows in his father's footsteps remains to be seen, but, as of now, it looks like he may be on his way to a career as a golfer.
