Brittany Mahomes recounts her Valentine's Day after hectic Super Bowl LVII celebrations

One would have expected Patrick and Brittany Mahomes to have a Valentine's Day bash after capturing the Super Bowl a couple of days ago. It was also the couple's first Valentine's since they became parents to their son Bronze, so this day should have been extra special.

However, as it turns out, all the celebrations, hectic travel and schedules during the Super Bowl have somewhat dampened Valentine's Day celebrations in the Mahomes household.

Brittany Mahomes posted an Instagram story on Feb. 14 about how the family of four was doing, confessing that the last two days had been exhausting for them.

She wrote:

"In case anyone was wondering, Sterling is still sleeping. Bronze slept all night. And I just woke up from my first nap of the day. Been a long two days."
Sterling is still sleeping, poor sis had a long two days ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

What's on Brittany Mahomes' radar in the coming days?

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes went to Disneyland with their children on Feb. 13. It was a fun time for the family, coming just a day after the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl 57 win, which would have been physically and mentally draining for all of them.

Patrick Mahomes posted photos of them in the "happiest place on earth."

Valentine's Day was a temporary respite for the Mahomes to catch up on their break because, from Feb. 15, the Chiefs are holding their Super Bowl parade. The last time they won the Super Bowl in 2020, nearly a million people descended on the streets of Kansas to celebrate the Chiefs' victory. A similar number are expected to participate in the celebrations this year as well.

As the league and Super Bowl MVP, Patrick Mahomes and his family will be front and center of the celebrations and this will naturally affect the QB's wife and kids. The hectic schedule that has been consistent since the Super Bowl weekend is expected to continue for at least one more day.

#ChiefsKingdom!!!! Canโ€™t wait to see yโ€™all tomorrow at the parade!!! Letโ€™s have a GREAT time! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿป๐Ÿป

However, given that the Kansas City Chiefs have reached five straight AFC Championships and only won one Super Bowl before this, it would have been a travesty for the Chiefs had they blown this. So as difficult as it is for Brittany Mahomes and their kids, she will certainly not begrudge the opportunity to call her husband a two-time Super Bowl champion.

It is the couple's first Lombardi Trophy since their wedding and also the first with both children there to experience the memories. As hectic as it has been, we are sure the Mahomes family will not want to change a thing about it.
