Broncos Super Bowl champ claims Patrick Mahomes' offense is "most explosive" for a three-peat

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are coming fresh off of their second Super Bowl victory in a row, as they've won the last two Super Bowls and a third in the last five years. This season, they're looking to become the first team in NFL history to successfully three-peat as Super Bowl champions.

Aqib Talib, who won Super Bowl 50 with the Denver Broncos, joined Kay Adams on the "Up & Adams Show" and spoke about Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' chances of pulling off a three-peat. The former All-Pro cornerback thinks the Chiefs can come out as Super Bowl champs this season.

"I feel like the Chiefs, this is probably the most explosive offense that Patrick Mahomes has ever had," Talib said. "So I'm excited to see what they do. He got this revamped offense, man, these young guys.
"He got Hollywood up top, Worthy up top, Rashee Rice catch and run, Pacheco, I mean, he's got his dancers and then he still got the OG. Kelce. I don't know, man, it's gonna be hard to stop this Chiefs team."

As Talib mentioned, the Chiefs could have a different kind of explosiveness on offense this season. They landed free agent wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, who is one of the most explosive and quickest wide outs in the NFL. He ran a 4.27 40-time in college at Oklahoma's Pro Day.

The Chiefs then used their first-round pick to select rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy, who ran the fastest 40-time in NFL history at 4.21 seconds. While Rashee Rice currently hasn't received punishment for his arrest incident from earlier this season, he's looking to cement himself as KC's No. 1 option at wide receiver after a productive rookie season.

KC also has Travis Kelce, the veteran leader of the offense, and running back Isiah Pacheco, who will be entering his third season in the NFL.
