Caleb Williams sends birthday wishes for Alina Thyregod as NFL rookie's girlfriend dons Bears merchandise

Caleb Williams was christened the next face of the Chicago Bears once the franchise made him the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. As we approach Week 1 of the regular season, several analysts believe Williams will be in pole position to take home Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, given the cast the Bears have assembled around their young signal caller.

While Williams will have to wait to get his wins on the field, it appears he's already winning off of it. On Saturday night, Williams made his relationship with his girlfriend Alina Thyregod Instagram official as he wished her a happy birthday.

The picture he posted appeared to be one taken from training camp with Thyregod seen wearing a Bears cap.

They were first spotted together in 2023 which was Williams' senior year over at USC.

A month and a half after the draft, Williams and his girlfriend were spotted together in Paris at the Louis Vuitton Menswear Spring/Summer show. Several fans compared her to Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany as images of the two went viral on social media.

Caleb Williams braced for rough introduction to life in the NFL

Williams was widely tipped to be the No. 1 overall pick for well over a year before the 2024 NFL Draft, but that doesn't mean he didn't have to deal with media scrutiny leading up to being picked by the Bears.

In an interview with Pardon My Take this week, Williams made it known that he was ready to deal with anything that will come his way in the NFL.

At one point, Williams was also compared to Prince. He addressed that report, saying:

"There was a lot of bulls**t [leading up to the NFL Draft]."

A lot was also made of how he paints his nails but the Bears rookie put his foot down and declared he was already thinking about which patterns to use on gamedays this season.
