NBA legend Michael Jordan and Cam Newton own luxury condos inside an exclusive Uptown building in Charlotte, Carolina. As per reports, investigations suggest that the building has some major security gaps.
The building, known as 'The Trust,' is located on South Tryon Street. The security gaps have allowed people who don't live there easy access, which is quite concerning.
'The Trust' is marketed as a luxury residence, and in a conversation with WCNC Charlotte, a person named Pierce, who works for various high-profile clients living there, talked about the growing security issues. He said:
"Everybody has to have a fob to get in there and still, that boundary is permeable. It's pretty clear that people can get in."
Pierce also mentioned an incident from earlier this year in which an unidentified person entered an elevator during the night and attacked people. He said:
"As soon as the elevator door opens, the guy comes at me," Pierce said. "The first thing I said was, 'Who are you? What are you doing here?' I ended up going to the hospital the next day."
Pierce also expressed concerns about the other residents. Recently, several videos have surfaced of people entering the property and posting them on social media.
