Carolina Panthers vs Chicago Bears box score, player stats and summary feat. Caleb Williams & D'Andre Swift

The 2-2 Chicago Bears locked horns with the 1-3 Carolina Panthers this Sunday afternoon and with the Panthers showing some signs of life in recent weeks, the Bears looked to keep Dave Canales’s side in check at Soldier Field.

The Bears and the Panthers traded touchdowns to start the quarter. Chuba Hubbard had the Panthers’ first score of the game whereas Caleb Williams ensured the Bears were back in the game after throwing to D.J. Moore.

A Roschon Johnson touchdown pulled the Bears ahead and with that momentum, Chicago kept it going, having D’Andre Swift grab their third touchdown in the first half. All in all, the Bears looked more than comfortable heading into halftime up 27-7.

Not much changed in the second half.

The Bears kept things ticking but the Panther struggled mightily to get any offense going. It got so bad later on that Dave Canales chose to bring on Bryce Young to sweep things up. Young had one good throw but by then it was too little too late for the Panthers to save any face.

As the Bears sailed to a win, tempers flared with four minutes left in the fourth. A massive brawl erupted, leading to the ejection of Jaycee Horn.

With the 36-10 defeat, the Panthers slide to 1-4 while the Bears improve to 3-2. Chicago still has a lot to clean up on offense and will have the opportunity to do so next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars when they travel to London for the NFL's second game in the U.K.

For the Panthers, the schedule does not ease up even a little. They will go up against the Falcons, Commanders, Broncos and Saints before facing the Giants and settling in for a bye week in Week 11. Following the bye week, they will take on the Kansas City Chiefs, who will likely have Hollywood Brown back from injury.
