Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt keeping Super Bowl spirit alive with heartfelt cause

By her own admission, Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt probably knows more about football than most casual fans. The daughter of owner Clark Hunt, Gracie is front and center when it comes to promoting the team and the NFL as a whole.

The Chiefs' recent Super Bowl victory against the Philadelphia Eagles was a major cause for celebration. However, weeks after the big game wrapped up, Hunt is keeping the Super Bowl spirit alive.

The 24-year-old recently attended an event for National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (D.D.A.M.). Gracie shared various heartfelt photos from the day, and also spoke about the cause on Instagram, making sure to educate people and garner support.

"Inclusion is necessary since about 15% of the world’s population lives with a disability. D.D.A.M. is about understanding the relationship between the way people function and how they participate in society and making sure everybody has the same opportunities in every aspect of life to the best of their abilities," she wrote.

Post the Super Bowl, Gracie even shared multiple photos of herself celebrating with her friends and family, some of them with the Lombardi Trophy.

Gracie Hunt came to Jackson Mahomes' defense before the Chiefs' Super Bowl win

Thanks to Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have become one of the most popular NFL teams. While Mahomes is celebrated as a star QB, his family, including wife Brittany and brother Jackson, have been on the receiving end of some nasty trolling.

In an interview with FOX News Digital, Gracie defended Jackson and lamented the judgemental nature of fans.

"I think Patrick Mahomes has a wonderful family – from Brittany to Jackson. They are wonderful people, and we are so blessed to have them as part of our organization and are huge rocks in Patrick’s life," she said.

Furthermore, Gracie added that one needs to forgive and move on:

"I think we need to be one that’s quick to forgive and slow to criticize.”

Currently working with the Chiefs' PR division, Gracie also represents the NFL as an ambassador. She also focuses on nonprofits like Breaking Barriers Through Sports, while promoting the Special Olympics as a Unified Champion Ambassador.
