Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife Tavia shares thoughts after Harrison Butker's viral commencement speech
Harrison Butker has been embroiled in controversy after making contentious comments on women and LGBTQ in his commencement speech at Benedictine College. Many celebrities have come forward reacting to his views.
Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt recently made an elaborate Instagram post sharing her thoughts about Harrison Butker’s controversial opinions.
Tavia expressed how she always encourages her daughters to chase their dreams and become highly educated women. Tavia said she wants her daughter to know that they can do whatever they wish for.
“But I also want them to know that I believe finding a spouse who loves and honors you as or before himself and raising a family together is one of the greatest blessings this world has to offer. Studies show that committed, married couples with children are the happiest demographic, and this has been my experience as well,” Tavia posted on Instagram.
Going forward, Tavia emphasizes that there are countless highly educated females out there who have devoted their entire lives to taking care of their kids.
“Countless highly educated women devote their lives to nurturing and guiding their children. Someone disagreeing with you doesn’t make them hateful; it simply means they have a different opinion. Let’s celebrate families, motherhood and fatherhood.”
Tavia ended her statement with one of the Proverbs from the Bible.
“Proverbs 31:28 says, ‘Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ Embracing the beautiful roles that God has made is something to celebrate,” Tavia said.
Nevertheless, Clark Hunt's daughter Gracie shares similar beliefs as her mother. Gracie Hunt made an appearance on Fox & Friends on Friday and shared her take on Butker’s “homemaker” comment.

“Well, I can only speak from my own experience, which is I’ve had the most incredible mom who had the ability to stay home and be with us as kids growing up and I understand that there are many women out there who can’t make that decision.”
Talking about Harrison Butker, Gracie said she respects the kicker and his Christian faith, acknowledging his “achievements on and off the field.”
While Tavia and Gracie might share similar beliefs as Harrison Butker, Isaac Rochell's wife Allison Kuch is on the other side. The social media influencer recently came forward and took shots at the Chiefs kicker for controversial comments.
