Chiefs safety's wife opines Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's work-life balance is 'everything'
It's been almost a year since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift started dating. Fans have always wondered how the couple manages to make time for one another despite their busy schedules.
Kansas City Chiefs safety Bryan Cook's wife Jayla feels the secret behind the success of Kelce and Swift's relationship is balance. In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE on Friday, she said:
"I feel like it's beautiful. It all is a work-life balance and everybody's going through different things. So just for them to acknowledge how hard it is to manage relationships and just deal with everything."
"I feel like it's a great spotlight to have. It is definitely very cool for them. Balance is just the main word of everything, just trying to balance everything. And they've been having a really good season so far."
Despite dating for a year, Kelce and Swift are still the talk of the town, especially since the start of the regular season. There have been rumors since last year that Swift impacts Kelce's performance, and Kelce's teammate confirmed the rumors.
Travis Kelce's teammate confirms Taylor Swift is the secret ingredient to TE's performance
Following the Kansas City Chiefs' win over the New Orleans Saints, Chiefs safety Justin Reid was interviewed on the "Up & Adams" show. During the interview, host Kay Adams asked Reid to give his take on speculations hinting at Swift's hand behind Kelce's performance.
"Who doesn't play better when they want to impress their girlfriend? Yes, absolutely. Taylor, come to all the games. Taylor, keep coming," Reid said.
Adam and Reid also discussed Kelce's slow start of the season and how the tight end showed great stats in the last two games. Talking about the same, Adams asked:
"There's always stories floating around your boy Trav being 35. He doesn't have it anymore. And he has 16 catches in the last two games. Tell me what flicked? What difference was made?"
"You know everyone has to adjust. Everyone in the league knows what Travis is capable of, and it's just about adjusting to finding ways to navigate what they were doing against them. Finding ways to beat the double teams, trying to take the pressure off. He's helping everybody even when he's not getting the balls," Reid replied.
A report released recently showed that Kelce has performed better in all the games Swift has attended.
