Christian McCaffrey's dad hails 49ers star's wife Olivia for capturing 'solid gold' footage from Rhode Island Wedding
Christian McCaffrey made full use of his offseason by tying the knot with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo earlier this month. Apart from gaining a daughter-in-law, CMC’s dad expressed his joyfulness at the video recording abilities of the newest addition to their family.
After a dreamy Rhode Island wedding, Culpo took to social media to show off her mother-in-law’s moves on the dance floor. This video from Culpo made CMC’s dad, Ed McCaffrey, a happy man.
After being engaged for over a year, this lavish wedding had everything. Ed took to X (formerly Twitter) to thank Olivia for capturing Lisa’s true nature from the after-party. He wrote:
“My daughter-in-law is already grabbing some SOLID GOLD CONTENT. Thank you Olivia for capturing Lisa in her natural habitat. (Love) my dancing queen.”
Like Christian McCaffrey, Ed McCaffrey also played for the San Francisco 49ers. A three-time Super Bowl winner, Ed McCaffrey married soccer player Lisa from Stanford. A wide receiver, Ed spent most of his career with the Denver Broncos before retiring in 2004.
Christian McCaffrey stands up for Olivia Culpo
Merely days after their wedding, Christian McCaffrey had to take his wife’s side during a viral video. LA Instagram influencer Kennedy Bingham called out Culpo for her wedding dress. The fashion stylist disagreed with the meanings that Culpo attached to her bridal gown. However, CMC was having none of it.
“What an evil thing to post online. I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, the way my beautiful wife does,” commented Christian on the post.
Olivia Culpo did not take criticisms about her lightly as well. Within hours of Bingham posting the video, she had to deal with Culpo calling her out at every instance.
With wedding festivities in the rear view mirror, fans can look forward to McCaffrey and the 49ers starting their mandatory full training camp on July 23.
