Colin Cowherd expects Tom Brady to rage-quit Tampa Bay Buccaneers after 2022
It hasn't been smooth sailing for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but they've caught some breaks. The Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons have all hit the same turbulence and struggled more. However, one NFL analyst has claimed that the quarterback isn't willing to settle.
Speaking on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, show host Colin Cowherd explained how the 45-year-old quarterback's body language is giving it away. Here's how he put it:
"I think eventually they were never perfect for each other. And I watched his body language the last couple of weeks and I watched him last night. He's over it. Like, he's just angrier and maybe some of it's the family situation, but I don't think he's done playing. I just think he's done with Tampa. That's what my eyes told me."
The quarterback went on to pull off what many were calling one of the biggest comebacks of his career. Down 16-3, the Buccaneers pulled off 14 unanswered points, including the go-ahead touchdown with just seconds to play.
Tom Brady braces Tampa Bay Buccaneers for upcoming schedule to wrap 2022 NFL season
At 6-6, the team is still in the driver's seat for the last month of the NFL schedule. Up next, they face the Jimmy Garoppolo-less San Francisco 49ers. They will then play against the Cincinnati Bengals before facing the Arizona Cardinals for Christmas.
Brady then has two games in January. On New Year's Day, he will play the Baker Mayfield-less Carolina Panthers. In Week 18, he will play the Atlanta Falcons to wrap up the regular season. Of course, Brady's detractors are hoping the quarterback stumbles against Kyle Shanahan and Joe Burrow over the next two weeks, digging a postseason hole for the team.
Will Tom Brady surge through the final month of the season to finish 11-6 and make the last several months of angst laughable in hindsight?
