Could ManningCast come to XFL? YouTuber urges Eli & Peyton Manning to join Dwayne Johnson’s league

In an alternate Monday Night Football broadcast on ESPN, "ManningCast" features Super Bowl-winning brothers Peyton and Eli Manning. It is a big hit amongst fans and one popular YouTuber thinks that the Mannings should bring their broadcast to an XFL game this season.

YouTuber Matty Fresh took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to give his opinion on how great of an opportunity it would be for the network as well as Peyton and Eli.

The two former NFL quarterbacks would be able to analyze even more decision-making due to the XFL's open mic on players and coaches. Matty Fresh said it would forever change broadcasts to have them broadcast an XFL game.

Imagine the Manningcast #XFL style

You give Peyton & Eli the open mic feeds to analyze QB to coach communication, football broadcasts change forever

They even moved the Monday night game March 27 to ESPN2 so the guys can feel right at home @OmahaProd @TheRock @DanyGarciaCo https://t.co/Q2aGMSpq96

He went on to point out that the March 27, 2023 XFL game was recently moved to be broadcast on a Monday night with ESPN2. XFL games are typically broadcast on ESPN+ or FX.

The concept of "ManningCast" also features interviews throughout the game and it could take an XFL game to the next level.

With the ratings boost that the XFL has garnered through the first three weeks, adding NFL royalty like the Manning brothers could be another positive step.

Will "ManningCast" return for the 2023 NFL season?

Over the last few years, the National Football League has looked for new, fresh ways to engage NFL fans. ESPN's idea of having Peyton and Eli Manning broadcast live from their prospective homes was a brilliant one.

Each "ManningCast" features three to four guests each week. Some are other NFL players, some are professional athletes from other sports and others are celebrities who are diehard football fans themselves.

There's no telling where the interviews and conversation will go and that seems to be one of the main selling points for fans. So, will NFL fans get another season of the popular alternate Monday Night Football broadcast?

In January 2023, Yahoo Sports reported that ESPN will bring back the broadcast for the 2023 NFL season.

As with last season, "ManningCast" with Peyton and Eli Manning will have 13 selected games throughout the season, including a Wild Card game. It will once again be broadcast on ESPN2.
