Darius Slay fires shots at Peter King for voicing banning of Eagles QB sneak - “Brady been doin it for yrs”

The Philadelphia Eagles have been chastised for running their unstoppable quarterback sneak all season, and Darius Slay has finally had enough.

Slay went after Peter King after he claimed that the NFL should ban the Eagles' play because it does not look good and is potentially dangerous.

Here's how Slay replied:

"Hater!! People mad that hurts doin it but Brady been doin it for Yrs an yrs nobody said nothing then.."

It's true that Tom Brady ran the QB-sneak play with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers throughout his career and it was virtually unstoppable.

Jalen Hurts is perhaps better than Brady at quarterback sneaks since he is considerably stronger than the seven-time Super Bowl champion and can also run the ball pretty well.

It will be fascinating to see if the NFL truly prohibits the play, as many people in the league want it be banned. Whether that is because the Philadelphia Eagles are better at it than any other team is a separate matter.

Darius Slay and the Eagles will be contenders next season as well

With the way Jalen Hurts played last season, the Philadelphia Eagles are built for success for years to come. Darius Slay and the Eagles' defense came up short in the Super Bowl, but they were pretty good throughout the season and will likely be dominant next season.

Hurts is expected to sign a new contract extension with Philadelphia soon, and every player on the team admires and appreciates him. He is an excellent leader and played the best game of his career in the Super Bowl, which resulted in a loss.

Jalen Hurts is arguably the best quarterback in the entire NFC and that in itself goes to show that the franchise is in a very good situation.

The Eagles will learn from their Super Bowl setback and expect to return stronger next season. The NFC is as weak as it has been for years, and Hurts and company have a wonderful opportunity to crush everyone.
