Davante Adams’ addition to Jets roster will be ‘cheat code,’ claims Breece Hall

Davante Adams has been consistently linked to the Jets this offseason to team up with Aaron Rodgers again, and Breece Hall thinks that it will be extremely unfair if that happens. But because the running back believes that such an arrangement will skew in the Jets' favor, he seems excited about it.

He was asked on The Pivot Podcast about what it will mean to have the Raiders receiver come to New York. Davante Adams is one of the best players in the league and has experience of the offense they will play under Nathaniel Hackett with Aaron Rodgers from their time together in Green Bay.

And Breece Hall, though seemingly all for it, foresaw just a minor problem. He wondered how they would manage to keep all the receivers happy, when they also have Garrett Wilson and he wants the ball too, as the running back. He said:

"It would be hectic for sure. Especially with the receivers managing who is going to touch the ball. 'Cause I know I'm getting my touches but I don't know they going to have to figure that out between them three."

Breece Hall then continued saying how great having Davante Adams would be for the Jets because it would be like having a cheat code. In addition to talking about the receivers, he also listed tight ends Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert as other weapons who can contribute:

"I feel like if we got him, it'll be another case of ‘pick your poison.’ Who you want to beat you? You want me to beat you, you want them three out there to beat you with Tyler Conklin and Jeremy Ruckert. That's everything, that's all we need right there. So, I feel like if we did add him they would probably they would say it was a cheat code basically."

Breece Hall's Davante Adams fantasy not impossible

Davante Adams has said that he does not foresee leaving the Raiders anytime soon. But if he is compelled to move, reuniting with Aaron Rodgers is something he would openly consider. He said:

"I'm locked in with the Raiders and I really feel good about this team. And as far as I know, they feel good about me and if that ever changes they got to a point where they weren't feeling the same way you know, I ain't done playing so obviously we will figure out whatever we need to figure out but the thought of playing with Aaron is obviously amazing."

And if that happens, Breece Hall might be one most excited about it.
