Deshaun Watson's coach calls out Joy Taylor in brutal fashion amid bombshell accusations in Fox lawsuit
Fox Sports host Joy Taylor was named in hairstylist Noushin Faraji's lawsuit against the network's executives, accusing them of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior.
Taylor was criticized heavily on social media after the accusations came to light. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson's personal coach Quincy Avery has also joined in the chorus of people calling out the host.
Taylor had previously criticized Deshaun Watson in 2022 amid sexual conduct accusations against the Browns QB.
On Sunday, Avery posted:
"Man, Joy Taylor. What say you? Arm got tired throwing all them rocks from your glass house."
In the 42-page lawsuit, Faraji alleged that Taylor landed her gig as a host on Fox Sports due to her relationship with Charlie Dixon, the company's then-Executive Vice President of Content. The hairstylist, who worked for the network from 2012 to August 2024, called out Taylor for cheating on her husband Richard Gianotti. The host allegedly told Faraji to "mind her business."
The hairstylist also claimed that Taylor was in a physical relationship with her co-host Emmanuel Acho. Faraji added that she warned Taylor that Dixon would reprimand her if he learned about her entanglement with the retired linebacker.
Taylor allegedly responded that she planned on telling Fox Sports that he "forced himself on her" to ensure she would not "be forced out by Mr. Dixon like other women talent.”
Joy Taylor had criticized Deshaun Watson for his apology
In August 2022, Watson, who was accused of sexual misconduct by over two dozen women, expressed remorse in an interview with Aditi Kinkhabwala, saying:
"I want to say that I'm truly sorry to all of the women that I have impacted in this situation. The decisions that I made in my life that put me in this position I would definitely like to have back, but I want to continue to move forward and grow and learn and show that I am a true person of character and I am going to keep pushing forward."
Joy Taylor did not buy the quarterback's apology and claimed he wasn't genuinely remorseful as he had never admitted wrongdoing. She posted:
"How can one be “innocent” and “remorseful”?"
Nearly two and a half years on, Taylor is now the defendant in the court of public opinion. She appeared on Monday's episode of Speak on FS1 but did not address the allegations.
