Did Andy Reid draft Jason Kelce? A look at Super Bowl foes’ NFL history
Andy Reid was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2012. He selected Jason Kelce in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Kelce was drafted with the 191st overall pick out of Cincinnati, and so far he has had a great career in the NFL.
Kelce has revealed on various occasions that Reid played a huge part in his development as a player in the league. He has always had a great relationship with his former head coach.
Andy Reid has the most wins (130) and playoff wins (10) in Eagles history and has fond memories of his time in Philadelphia. Reid wasn't able to win the Super Bowl with the franchise and was fired in 2012.
Since then, Reid has been the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Eagles players he drafted have the utmost respect for him, just like Jason Kelce.
In a few days' time, Andy Reid has a chance to win the Super Bowl against the team that fired him. However, the Eagles are also motivated to make their mark against their former coach.

Andy Reid drafted Kelce's younger brother Travis for the Kansas City Chiefs. As revealed by the Kelce brothers themselves, Reid did ask Jason Kelce about his brother before drafting him.
The decision to draft the Kelce brothers was obviously a wise one by coach Reid, as both of them are likely to make the Hall of Fame. Travis Kelce is currently the best tight end in the NFL, and the older Kelce brother is arguably the best center.
Both Kelce brothers have won one Super Bowl each in their careers, and they'll face off against each other on Sunday. This year's big game will be entertaining to watch as these have been the two best teams in the NFL this season.
