Did Travis Kelce respond to Elon Musk's Taylor Swift comment? Debunking viral rumor
Travis Kelce's girlfriend Taylor Swift is used to being called out and trolled online. However, after the pop icon endorsed US Vice President Kamala Harris for the upcoming presidential elections, Elon Musk took to his website X (previously Twitter) and commented about Swift.
Musk has put his weight behind Donald Trump for the upcoming election and took to trolling Swift with a tweet. Trump himself had previously taken notice of Swift's endorsement.
“Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
Musk’s comment has multiple layers of callbacks. Trump’s running mate J.D. Vance had derided the country as being run by “a bunch of childless cat ladies.” In response, Swift, in her endorsement post of Kamala Harris, had signed off as “Taylor Swift Childless Cat Lady.”.
However, after Musk’s tweet went viral, a screenshot of Travis Kelce’s reply also started making the rounds. Allegedly, the Kansas City Chiefs TE tweeted:
“I'm 6'5" and actually play football. The fact I went to college and got a degree and worked hard might be lost on you. I don't play backgammon but I do play chess. I could also twist you into a pretzel.”
However, this is a fake screenshot that has been edited and has been used numerous times on X.
Travis Kelce did not take to X to post his response to Musk as of now. However, the three-time Super Bowl winner could do so soon enough, possibly during the next episode of his podcast "New Heights."
Taylor Swift encourages her fans to vote
Taylor Swift created history on Wednesday night after winning her 30th VMA award and equalling Beyonce’s record. During her speech, a day after endorsing V.P. Harris, she urged people to vote this November, as per Forbes.
“If you’re over 18, please register to vote for something else that is important — the Presidential election,” said Swift.
During her speech, Taylor Swift also thanked Travis Kelce for adding “fun and magic” to her video shoot.
