Dolphins star Raheem Mostert's wife Devon shares parents' reaction to viral Kamala Harris criticism
Miami Dolphins star Raheem Mostert's wife, Devon Mostert, recently made headlines for her criticism towards Kamala Harris. Following Harris' claim that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been ignoring her calls, Devon called her out for playing political games.
Devon Mostert took to her Instagram to reshare a reel featuring President Joe Biden praising Ron DeSantis for his response towards the hurricane relief. Biden's statement was the opposite of Kamala Harris, who criticized him. Reacting to her criticism in contrast to Biden's response, Devon said:
“In case you missed it, Kam Kam went on a media rant yesterday about how selfish and utterly responsible DeSantis is. The math ain’t mathing, sis. They’re sinking their own ship."
Devon Mostert's criticism towards Kamala Harris caught fire, reaching her parents as well. On Thursday, Devon took to her Instagram story to share an article from FoxNews, while revealing her parents' reaction to the statement. Talking about the same, she said:
"My parents are so proud.... and my bestie who called me with excitement. 'Ma'am you're on FOX NEWS!' No one has time, Kamala – especially for her to say some [B.S.] like, 'We can be unburdened by what has been.' She's garbage. Textbook trash."
Kamala Harris called out Ron DeSantis in an exclusive interview with NewYorkPost. According to the publication, Harris said:
"Moments of crisis, if nothing else - should really be the moment that anyone who calls themselves a leader says they're going to put politics aside and put the people first. People are in desperate need of support right now, and playing political games with this moment, in these crisis situations, these are the height of emergency situations, is just utterly irresponsible, and it is selfish."
In a conference on Monday, when DeSantis was asked about Kamala Harris' calls, the Governor denied having knowledge of any communication. Sharing his statement, DeSantis said:
"No. I didn’t know she called me. Saw that [media report] but I was not aware of that."
Raheem Mostert's wife isn't the only WAG of a Dolphins player who have criticized Kamala Harris. Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, also called Harris out, following her podcast announcement.
Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel criticized Kamala Harris for podcast announcement amidst Hurricane Milton
Amidst Florida's battle with hurricane, Alex Cooper announced an interview with Kamala Harris on Call Her Daddy podcast. According to PopCrave, the interview was expected to be focused on reproductive rights. Unimpressed with the announcement, Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, took shots at Harris in a tweet on Saturday.
"Aw so glad she has time for this. Not like Americans are in any sort of crisis that should have the undivided attention of the current** administration," Bush said via X.
Almost a day before criticizing Kamala Harris, Rachel Bush called out FEMA for misusing funds meant for hurricane relief. Bush's statement aligned with that of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife Tavia who accused FEMA of misusing $1.4 Billion.
