Donald Trump endorses Nick Bosa after 49ers star hit the President's 'dance move' after a sack

President-elect Donald Trump praised Nick Bosa after he recorded a sack during the San Francisco 49ers' win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Bosa has been vocal in his support of Trump over the last few weeks.

The 49ers defensive end was earlier fined for wearing a MAGA hat after the Dallas Cowboys game on Oct. 27. After Trump won the U.S. election on Tuesday, Bosa was quick to celebrate as he got a sack against the Buccaneers and hit the Trump dance move celebration.

Following Bosa doing the Trump celebration after a sack, the President-elect took to social media to heap praise on the pass rusher.

"NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER!" Trump wrote.

Trump was quick to praise Bosa for having his back, as the pass rusher was fined $11,255 by the NFL for wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat during a postgame interview.

Before being fined, Bosa said he wasn't sure if he was going to be fined but said it was well worth it.

"I haven't got one yet, but if it comes, it comes," Bosa said, via ESPN. "It was well worth it."

Bosa finished the game with three tackles and an assist in the 49ers' 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With the win, the 49ers are now 5-4 and are one game back of the Arizona Cardinals, who are 6-4.

Nick Bosa wouldn't comment on MAGA hat

Despite crashing a post-game interview with a MAGA hat on, Nick Bosa wasn't willing to comment on it.

Instead, Bosa said his position won't change by speaking about it. But he says the nation obviously spoke by electing Trump.

"I'm not going to talk too much about it, but I think it's an important time ... I don't think my position on speaking about it is going to change," Bosa added. "Clearly, the nation spoke. And we got what we got."

Bosa has recorded 32 tackles, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one interception this season. He and the 49ers will return to the field on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks at home in a pivotal NFC West divisional battle.
