Donald Trump hails Patrick Mahomes' "beautiful" wife Brittany after viral rumors of her support
Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany found herself in trouble with fans last month after going viral for liking one of former President Donald Trump's Instagram post. Even though Brittany hit back at trolls for the unwanted criticism, the former US President is nothing but impressed with Mrs. Mahomes.
On Wednesday, Trump made an official statement through his Truth Social network's X account. In his statement, the former President thanked Brittany for her support. In addition, the Presidential candidate also noted that he is looking forward to meeting her in the Super Bowl 2025. Talking about the same, Trump said:
"I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country."
"With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless 'leaders', it is nice to see someone who loves our Country and wants to save it from DOOM. What a great couple - See you both at the Super Bowl!" Trump concluded.
While Brittany Mahomes' political support inclines towards Donald Trump, her BFF Taylor Swift is on the other side of the coin. In fact, Swift even accused the then-US President of promoting racism in 2020 with a post on X that said:
"After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire Presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts, the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November."
The incident brought lots of online negativity into Brittany's life. However, it was Patrick Mahomes’ years-old advice that helped her battle it. In an interview recently, the former soccer player shed light on the same.
Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany revealed QB's advice to block online negativity
Brittany Mahomes made an appearance on Whoop's podcast last week, during which she opened up about several aspects of her life. The mother-of-two revealed how Patrick's one specific advice helped her keep the online negativity at bay.
"The main thing that, you know, he always told me is 'Stop caring about what people think, especially the people that don't even know you'. And so I think social media used to get to me a lot, and now I don't give a fu*k what people have to say about me anymore," Brittany said.
During the same podcast, Brittany also recalled how Patrick Mahomes was being "corny" during the couple's first Valentine's Day proposal. As for Donald Trump's statement, Brittany is yet to react to it.
