Eagles CB Darius Slay defends Khyree Jackson against football TikToker's comments after Vikings rookie's tragic death
Khyree Jackson, along with two others, died in a car crash in the early morning hours of July 6. While this sent shockwaves around the football world, one man questioned the Minnesota Vikings CB’s character and choices, prompting Darius Slay to defend the rookie’s honor.
After learning about the death of Khyree Jackson, NFL TikToker ‘RicoKnows’ repeated his previous assessment of Jackson as being a 'terrible person, character-wise.' He reached these conclusions based on discussions with Jackson's college teammates and repeated them on TikTok:
“So for me, I'm not going to support somebody like that. I hope he kept his nose clean. I said, I hope he doesn't get arrested, things of that nature,” RicoKnows said in a now deleted video on TikTok.
Many across different social media platforms called out ‘RicoKnows’ for his take, including the Philadelphia Eagles man. On a reposted video on X (formerly Twitter), Darius Slay wrote:
“Could’ve kept that sh*t to yourself!”
However, Slay and other people’s negative reactions to this video seem to have worked, since the TikToker has deleted the original video from his page.
