Erin Andrews upset at Aaron Rodgers for not joining Charissa Thompson's postgame interview: "How dare you?"

Following their huge win over the New England Patriots last week, New York Jets star Aaron Rodgers did an on-field interview with Amazon Prime reporter Kaylee Hartung. Instead of then joining Charissa Thompson for the TNF Nightcap show, Rodgers went inside his locker room.

Rodgers' ignoring Thompson didn't land well with her best friend and former sports reporter Erin Andrews. During Monday's episode of her Calm Down podcast, Andrews opened up about being upset with Rodgers for ignoring Thompson. Sharing her reaction, Andrews said:

“I’d rather it have been up there on the desk,” she said. “I was looking forward to two of my really good friends yukking it up. I didn’t love it. I get really sensitive when our people … it’s not that they don’t make the time."
"I’ve made jokes to Tom Brady about it, ‘Remember the game that you threw for 400 yards and you ran right past me on postgame and I reapplied lip gloss, are you insane?’ It’s just rude,” Andrews said. “Or now Aaron, when I talk to you, ‘How dare you not go up on that desk with Charissa’. It does get personal,” Andrews concluded.

Aaron Rodgers' interview with Kaylee Hartung lasted about two minutes, during which the quarterback revealed how he felt like his old self. Talking about the same, Rodgers said:

“I felt pretty good tonight. I was doing some things that I did as a younger man. I’ve said that as the games go on, I’m going to feel more comfortable moving around a bit … sometimes, games like this, you need those little extra plays that I used to do a lot when I was a younger player, but it’s nice to have that element back.”

Aaron Rodgers revealed reaching out to Patriots QB Drake Maye post-game

Aaron Rodgers made an appearance on Tuesday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, during which the Jets quarterback mentioned reaching out to Drake Maye through social media. The gesture came after Maye left a good impression of himself on the Jets quarterback after the humbling loss.

"I thought it was really cool that Drake (Maye) stuck around to say hello. It's something definitely that I would've done as a young player to some of the guys I watched growing up. I just happened to be teammates with my favorite quarterback at the time," Rodgers said.
"It was really cool, I reached out to him on Instagram to tell him that I appreciated that. So, it was cool. It was really cool. There's something about having that respect and deference that I just really appreciate," Rodgers concluded.

Aaron Rodgers offered Jets fans a great show last Thursday, as the quarterback established dominance in the game from the first quarter itself. By the end of the game, Rodgers completed 27 passes for 281 passing yards and two touchdowns.
