Everything we know about Matthew Stafford's $12,500,000 Hidden Hills California mansions formerly owned by Drake

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is making some major changes in his real estate assets. The quarterback recently listed his two luxurious properties in Hidden Hills, California, for sale. Interestingly, a major selling point of these properties is that they were previously owned by rapper Drake.

According to Realtor, Stafford has listed his ranch houses in Hidden Hills for $5.7 million and $6.8 million each. These two properties were constructed for Drake to be an exclusive part of his YOLO (you only live once) estate, until the quarterback purchased them.

In 2022, Stafford bought these ranch houses for a reported total of $11 million. The first estate is the larger of the two neighboring properties and was built in 1955. It has four bedrooms with five bathrooms and covers an area of 3,645 square feet.

The second property occupies 2,499 square feet. It has three bedrooms with three bathrooms and an additional 2-acre lot. The property was reportedly constructed in 1957 and is valued at $6.8 million.

The Rams quarterback's decision to sell these Hidden Hills houses came almost a year after he and his wife Kelly bought a winery worth $10.5 million last year. Later, in December, the couple made another major investment, as they bought the mansion they currently reside in.

The couple spent about $28.2 million, according to Realtor, to reconstruct a new mansion in place of a traditional house, which was previously owned by Hollywood star Jennifer Lopez.

Matthew Stafford rumored to be traded to Minnesota Vikings

Matthew Stafford has been with the Los Angeles Rams since 2021, helping the team win a Super Bowl in his first season there. However, the 2024 season hasn't been going very well for the quarterback, and strong rumors of a trade have abounded. In fact, there have been serious talks around a move to the Minnesota Vikings.

"SOURCES: The Vikings and Rams are in serious trade talks for Matthew Stafford. Minnesota made a push to trade for Stafford this offseason but are now revisiting with the idea that he can be the piece to help them win a Super Bowl this season," said NFL analyst Jack Settleman.

If the Vikings are indeed interested in Matthew Stafford, they'd be on course to compile one of the strongest quarterback rooms in the league. They already have Sam Darnold, Nick Mullens, and rookie JJ McCarthy (injured).

Apart from a trade, though, there’s also an equal possibility of retirement. In fact, the quarterback recently opened up about his post-retirement plans.
