Ex-Cowboys WR drops massive prediction for Deion & Shedeur Sanders' Colorado

Former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has made predictions for the upcoming college football season, placing Deion and Shedeur Sanders' Colorado at the top of his list of teams "that will make the biggest leaps this year." That is quite the statement, given last year the Buffaloes finished 1-8 in their conference.

But the three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has also included Nebraska, Arizona and SMU as the dark horses this season. Deion Sanders will be hoping that is the case and if Shedeur Sanders can accomplish that, his NFL Draft stock will significantly increase.

Dez Bryant's full circle as he follows Deion, Shedeur Sanders' college career

A long time ago before Shedeur Sanders was in the picture, Dez Bryant was a college star and Deion Sanders was an established cornerback in the NFL and a multi-sport athlete. As he was starring for Oklahoma State, the wide receiver enjoyed the dinner of a lifetime when he sat down with Prime Time. But in his youthful immaturity, he chose to lie about it.

Bryant was not just meeting Sanders for dinner but was asking for information regarding going pro and hiring an agent. For "failing to openly disclose to the NCAA the full details of his interaction with a former NFL player (Sanders) not affiliated with OSU," Bryant was suspended for the remainder of the 2009 season, as per Bleacher Report.

That ended his college prematurely, as the NCAA suspended him in September 2009 for not coming clean about the meeting. The relationship did not improve later either as Deion Sanders had some harsh comments about some off-field issues that Dez Bryant got into when he was playing for the Cowboys.

So, for the Pro Bowl receiver to now come out and take an interest in what Deion and Shedeur Sanders are doing marks a full circle moment. It was meeting Prime Time that ended his college career. Yet, Dez Bryant is now the one backing him to succeed in his coaching career at that level. They have since patched things up as well and were together during the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

Whether what the wide receiver said will come to pass is something that is trickier to decide. There is no guarantee of success and one will not know how well prepared the teams are until the season begins. What is interesting is that with Colorado moving back to Big 12 beginning this season, they will go up against Oklahoma State, Dez Bryant's alma mater.
