Ex-Donald Trump consultant accuses former U.S. President of mocking Tom Brady about Gisele Bundchen
Donald Trump and his love for the Patriots go a long way back. This love was not only reserved for the team’s success but also for the QB Tom Brady. In a recent report, Trump’s former consultant, Sam Nunberg, alleges that Trump mocked the former QB and his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen.
The former New England Patriots QB has won several hearts all over the world for his athletic displays on the field. During an appearance on ‘Pablo Torres Finds Out’ podcast, former Rolling Stone’s editor-in-chief Noah Shachtman alleged that Donald Trump saw Brady as a potential son-in-law.
Shachtman claims that Donald Trump wanted Tom Brady to date and eventually marry his daughter Ivanka Trump. Shachtman wanted to get to the bottom of this and contacted Trump’s former consultant Sam Nunberg. During their conversation, Nunberg spilled the beans.
“Donald [Trump] would frequently say that Tom [Brady] knows that Melania is prettier than Gisele. And he did occasionally say, don’t you think Ivanka is prettier than Gisele?” Nunberg said to Shachtman.
Nunberg started working with Donald Trump in 2011 and was fired in 2014, before Trump’s first presidential bid. Since then, they have been embroiled in litigations and media commentaries against each other.
Donald Trump and Tom Brady over the years
Before Donald Trump dipped his feet into the political world, the business tycoon was on good terms with Tom Brady. During Trump’s first presidential bid, his campaign hat ‘Make America Great Again’ was featured in Brady’s locker room in 2015. Brady did not shy away from hyping up Trump to the press.
“Tom Brady confirms Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" hat was in his locker, says he's good friend & has done "amazing" things.”
This news spread like wildfire and Brady subsequently distanced himself from Trump. After winning the Super Bowl, the QB chose to skip the Patriots’ visit to the White House in 2017 under former President Donald Trump.
After retirement, Brady has shifted his focus to the broadcaster role while Donald Trump is running for the top office once again.
