Ex-NFL Pro Bowler reacts to Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson’s heated altercation going viral

Last week, the New York Jets training camp began and featured an intense moment with Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson. During a brief period on the sidelines, a heated exchange transpired between them, where the two were seen 'arguing.' The disagreement between the teammates went viral on social media.

Former NFL quarterback turned NFL analyst Robert Griffin III gave his take on the video going viral and does not think the argument is a cause for concern, as he tweeted:

"Aaron Rodgers and Garrett Wilson got in a heated discussion during practice?! GOOD. Teammates have to be willing to challenge each other to find greatness. This is leadership from 2 guys that have Super Bowl on their mind and want it right now. I LOVE THIS."

After Rodgers' and Wilson's nearly minute-long exchange, the two shook hands at the end, hinting that the tiff wasn't as serious as some thought.

There's going to be a big Aaron Rodgers-Garrett Wilson connection this season. Wilson has been New York's No. 1 wide receiver for the last two seasons since entering the NFL and has eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first two campaigns.

With Rodgers throwing him the ball this year, Wilson's numbers are expected to increase and it looks like Rodgers has full confidence in him. The quarterback praised the young emerging wide receiver over the weekend in an interview with NFL Network, saying:

"He's in his third year. He's going to figure it out. He has all the skill sets; he's as dynamic as I've ever been around. If he can figure out how to practice with those details, then you get in the game, and he just relies on his instincts and it's going to be really special."

Rodgers will be entering the 20th season of his NFL career at the age of 40 when this season begins. He's returning to the field after tearing his Achilles last season on the Jets' first offensive drive.
