Ex-NFL QB names 2 teams Deion Sanders will not let Shedeur Sanders get drafted to

Shedeur Sanders' NFL prospects have become an intriguing topic for fans. The Colorado Buffaloes quarterback is considered one of the top playmakers of his class, with many believing he could be the No. 1 overall pick next year.

Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky responded to a mock draft that placed Sanders with the Cleveland Browns. The analyst said that Deion Sanders wasn't letting that happen and named two franchises where the coach wouldn't let his son go.

"There is a 0% chance Deion let’s Shedeur get drafted by Cleveland. Cleveland/Carolina will not happen," Orlovsky posted on X on Friday.

Looking at how the season is developing, it'll be likely that the Panthers, Browns, Titans and Patriots could end up with the league-worst record. While the Patriots seem to have their quarterback of the future in Drake Maye, the Browns, Panthers and Titans could pursue Shedeur Sanders.

If Orlovsky's words are to be believed, neither the Browns nor the Panthers would be appealing for 'Coach Prime.' More teams have been mentioned as potential destinations for the young quarterback, but if he keeps playing at this high level, it'll be hard to prevent certain teams from drafting him next year.

In addition to these four franchises, the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly interested in Shedeur Sanders. However, his father has also mentioned another team that could emerge as a viable option under certain circumstances.

Deion Sanders says Dolphins could end up drafting Shedeur Sanders

Earlier this month, Deion Sanders joined Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson on their 'Night Cap' show, where he discussed the possibility of Shedeur Sanders being drafted by the Miami Dolphins. Tua Tagovailoa has been advised to consider retirement, and even though he says he's ready to return, that could change.

"If [Tua Tagovailoa] warrants another concussion, that's got to be all she wrote, we're praying that don't happen... What do you do business-wse if you're the Dolphins? Do you go into the draft and take a QB?" Sanders said.

The Colorado Buffaloes, led by Shedeur Sanders and versatile cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter, have made significant strides this season. They sit at 5-2 after seven games, ranking third in the Big 12.

They're getting closer to getting bowl eligibility, which would be a huge milestone for the program. However, the season is still young and his camp has more things to focus on than potential NFL prospects.
