Ex-Raiders star Isaac Rochell's wife Allison Kuch opens up about post-pregnancy mental health struggles
Former Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Isaac Rochell welcomed his first child with his wife, Allison Kuch, in December last year. On Wednesday, Kuch opened up about how breastfeeding her newborn has taken a toll on her mental health.
"The way I know my mental health would improve if I stopped pumping, but at the same time, I think it would make my mental health worse. Also, how do you ween from breastmilk at one year? Go to a toddler formula? Straight to cows milk? Where is the manual? What did moms do before Google," Kuch wrote on Instagram.
It's not the first time that Kuch has talked about her mental health struggles post-pregnancy. Last week, the social media influencer said she was going through a tough phase.
"Side note: I feel like I'm in a weird negative space where bad/inconvenient things keep happening & then I feel like I sunk, so I attract more bad things. Like, hello universe, I'm trying to be positive over here, but you're making it hard," Kuch wrote on Instagram.
Kuch also shed light on her emotional postpartum journey last month on TikTok, featuring her best memories with her baby.
Allison Kuch on NFL covering $30,000 medical bill
Earlier this month, Allison Kuch posted a clip on TikTok in which she revealed the NFL paid her $30,000 medical bill at the time of delivery.
"Anytime my husband is employed by any NFL team, it restarts his eligibility, Kuch said. "Last year, because my husband was employed by the Las Vegas Raiders, he got insurance for the full employment year, which was September 1 to August 31."
With the 2024 regular season almost around the corner, Allison Kuch's husband, Isaac Rochell, remains a free agent. While many fans speculated that the defensive end is planning retirement, Kuch denied the rumors.
