EXCLUSIVE: "He hasn't even scratched the surface yet" - NFL rookie sensation Sauce Gardner gets glowing review from Jets teammate

New York Jets rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner is quickly becoming one of the top 10 corners in the league. Jets defensive back Will Parks spoke with the Sportskeeda team in an exclusive interview about Gardner's impact and presence thus far as a rookie.

Parks said:

"We've seen it firsthand and stuff like that. But man, I mean, we're relying on him as a rookie and that's pretty huge. It's tough to be a rookie, especially out there on an island as much as he is. Being able to hold it down, he's great, definitely, but he hasn't even scratched the surface yet."

The Jets defense has been one of the best this season. They rank in the top 10 in points allowed per game and yards allowed per game. Their secondary is led by Sauce Gardner, who has been one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.

Not only has Parks raved about Gardmer, but head coach Robert Saleh has publicly done the same multiple times. Many analysts have also been impressed thus far with the youngster's play.
