Fans demand respect for Kylie Kelce as power couple hit Paris Olympics: "Jason Kelce is so out of pocket"
Kylie and Jason Kelce are currently in Paris, showing their support for Team USA in the 2024 Olympics. Photos of them taking in different events have circulated on social media and some fans are looking to give Kylie Kelce as much credit as her husband Jason Kelce.
A photo of the former Philadelphia Eagles center wearing a beret while watching a field hockey game with his wife caught the attention of many fans of the couple. Many fans are not happy with some simply calling Kylie Kelce, a former collegiate athlete in her own right, as just his 'wife'.
The comments on the X post centered around Kylie Kelce being acknowledged for her own accomplishments. Some even jokingly said that she deserves credit just for dealing with Jason Kelce and his antics, in this case, wearing a beret in France.
Some comments also centered around the attention given to field hockey by the Kelces as it isn't one of the more popular sports during the Summer Games. One fan even called the couple and their family 'national treasures'.
"Kylie kelce is a queen," stated on user on X.
"this makes me endlessly happy. i love field hockey so much," stated another.
"That family is a national treasure...," one fan of the Kelce family said.
Others were excited to see Kylie, a former field hockey player get an opportunity to watch the Olympic Games.
Kylie and Jason Kelce spoke to the Associated Press about attending the Olympics for the first time and achieving a bucket list item.
"Kylie coached Field Hockey so this is everything," said another.
"Jason and Kylie continuing to be national treasures," said one.
"You can tell this is a Kylie centered outing because Jason dressed up for it," one fan predicted.
Jason Kelce arm-wrestled Olympian Nicole Heavirland
Jason Kelce is thoroughly enjoying his retirement since he made the announcement a few months ago. The former Philadelphia Eagles center's most recent adventure is the 2024 Summer Olympics and he didn't miss an opportunity to get in on some competition himself.
Kelce got into an arm wrestling competition with women's rugby player Nicole Heavirland. The latter posted the video on her Instagram, showing Kelce winning the competition.
Heavirland questioned whether Kelce was using a table to get a better advantage in winning the arm wresting match.
This interesting encounter meant that the former NFL center has also been established as the United States Women's Rugby team super fan.
