Former NFL QB makes feelings known over Jordan Love's 'damn near impossible throw' vs Dolphins
The Green Bay Packers and the Miami Dolphins capped off the Thanksgiving Day schedule when they faced off against each other under the snowy conditions of Lambeau Field. Much was made of Tua Tagovailoa's record under cold conditions and the fact that the Dolphins have now lost their last 13 games in 40 degrees or lower.
The Packers, meanwhile, were clearly comfortable taking the game to the Dolphins as the snow poured down at Lambeau Field. Jordan Love, in particular, had a lot of fun on the night, going 21-of-28 for 274 yards and two touchdowns.
Former Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick had equally as much fun watching Love sling the ball all night, it would seem. On social media platform X, Fitzpatrick locked in on some tape of Love's throws, highlighting one throw early in the third quarter.
"Lots of wow throws on tape for Jordan Love. Hard to explain how difficult of a throw this is but trust me it's damn near impossible," Fitzpatrick wrote.
"I would look like I was having a seizure if I tried to make this throw," he added.
Can Jordan Love's Packers make playoffs after Week 13 win over Dolphins?
The Packers are 9-3 heading into a Week 14 showdown with the NFC's best, the Detroit Lions. As things stand, the Packers are all but certain of playing meaningful football in January. Prior to Week 13, Sportskeeda's algorithm put the Packers' playoff chances at a cool 85.49%.
Their Week 13 opponents, the Dolphins, meanwhile, face a fight to make the playoffs.
They are outside the top seven spots, behind the Indianapolis Colts, who are 6-7. While questions have been raised on Mike McDaniel's playoff success (or lack thereof), former running back Reggie Bush went one step further, asking the Dolphins to fire McDaniel.
Under an Instagram post highlighting the Dolphins' terrible record in cold conditions, Bush wrote:
"Fire the coach, he should have never had the opportunity, he sucks."
The Dolphins are winless in the playoffs under McDaniel's tenure as head coach.
