George Kittle received strict warning from John Lynch over 49ers TE's WrestleMania appearance: Report

George Kittle is a fun guy on and off the field, and apart from being a fantastic tight end, he's also one of the most liked players in the league. The San Francisco 49ers superstar is well known for his persona, which brought him an invite to appear at WrestleMania in 2023.

Kittle featured in the event held at the SoFi Stadium without giving any notice to the 49ers' general manager John Lynch, who didn't seem to be thrilled with his tight end putting himself at risk. Still, the tight end spoke about his mindset before his appearance, which was "Just don't get hurt, and we won't have any problems".

However, a new report from ESPN speaking about what players are and aren't allowed to do during the offseason shows how Lynch wasn't happy with his star. Kittle told ESPN's Marc Raimondi that, fresh off his appearance, he received a message from Lynch that reads "Hope you had fun. Don't do that again".

Since NFL guarantees can be voided through injury, especially if it happens in an event outside of the league's scope, any injury could bring problems not only to the team, but to George Kittle's pockets. He did not appear in any more WWE events.

George Kittle is not yet showing signs of decline

Even though the 49ers' superstar is on the wrong side of 30, he's still one of the best in his position. Last year, he finally crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the first time since 2019 and was an integral piece of San Francisco's offense to the Super Bowl.

Although he's at an advanced age, there are no signs of decline in his production. He missed just one game, had his highest yard mark since 2019 and also had six touchdowns, earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl marks for his excellent season.

We might see a lot of George Kittle yet, which is great news for NFL fans. He's one of the funniest guys off the field, and playing under Kyle Shanahan just makes his talent as a blocker even more useful. And who doesn't love to see good players?
