George Kittle's wife Claire makes feelings known over 49ers' snowcapped showdown vs Bills

George Kittle and the San Francisco 49ers' turbulent season continued on Sunday night with a 35-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Although the outcome of the game wasn't what they were expecting, Claire Kittle shared her enjoyment of experiencing a game at Highmark Stadium for the first time.

Claire shared her photo from the sidelines with her husband.

"In 8 years George has never played in Buffalo. There are very few stadiums that I have left to experience and I'm happy to report this one did not disappoint. It felt very Midwest and I loved it," Claire wrote on Instagram.

George Kittle's honest answer regarding 49ers' injury plagues season

Tight end George Kittle has seen a lot through his eight seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He has been to Super Bowls, made late playoff runs and even had seasons where their playoff hopes were dashed due to injury. The latter is what happened again this season to the Super Bowl favorites.

After another disappointing loss on Sunday, Kittle spoke to reporters about the injuries the 49ers continue to experience. Most recently it was running back Christian McCaffrey, who missed the first eight weeks of the season, injured his knee on Sunday night.

“It's not a great feeling, but I mean, it's football," Kittle told Nick Wagoner of ESPN. "People go down and we've had seasons where plenty of people have gone down and you need someone to step up and that's what we need.
"We continually need guys to step up, whether it's starters and players that we have that are already doing it or new guys who are getting into the rotation. We're in the NFL for a reason. All these guys belong in the NFL and they have playmaking abilities. That's on all of us.”

George Kittle had just one catch for seven yards in Sunday night's loss to the Buffalo Bills.
