Gisele Bundchen once revealed how she dealt with arguments involving Tom Brady prior to multi-million dollar divorce

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have officially separated, but this is not the first time that the purported discontent between them has come to the fore. There have been times when they have not looked eye to eye before, even when they were happily married.

She released a book four years ago titled "Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life." In it, she wrote that there were issues in their marriages like every couple and how she would deal with heated arguments between the pair. What she suggested is that the best way for her was to often decouple and not speak about it till she felt her anger subside. She writes:

“Instead of reacting in a way that I’ll regret later, I remember to breathe... “It’s better if we talk later”... Meditation has been key in helping me with my own reactivity. I think of my anger as a visitor, and I can see that it is potentially destructive, so I make the conscience choice not to engage with it.”

However, this final time it seems that neither Tom Brady nor Gisele Bundchen could control their disagreements about how they wanted to proceed forward. As soon as Tom Brady chose to unretire and spend more time away from the family, she allegedly felt that she was the only one sacrificing her prime years for the family. Reportedly, he felt he was still able to compete at the highest level and did not want to waste his talents. Eventually, they decided to part ways.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady's fitness lifestyle

Both Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady have promoted a healthy lifestyle even when they were together. As mentioned in the excerpt from the book above, Bundchen has always taken to meditation for her spiritual and physical well-being. Meditation and yoga are something she has encouraged her family into as well.

Brady, on the other hand, is still going strong at the age of 45 in the NFL. He is an exemplar of how to maintain physical fitness. His lean diet of mostly vegetable products and protein shakes and avoiding animal fat and inflammatory foods has taken the world by storm. It has now created the offshoot that is TB12 diet, which in itself has become a brand.

For many years, they were, therefore, considered two peas in a pod. We would like to think that despite their separation, they will continue to individually reach for their highest personal aspirations, as they always have.
