"He craves attention" - Cowboys fans outraged over Jason Kelce's wild 'b**thole of America' take
Former Philadelphia Eagles’ Center Jason Kelce is known for his outrageous comments, as he rarely shies away from using profane language on the mic, even in public. His latest comments came ahead of Monday's game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Jason Kelce was with Scott Van Pelt, Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark before the MNF showdown. As the group got ready to welcome the viewers back to the pregame show, Van Pelt introduced viewers to the city,
“This is the state of Texas… Dallas” while Kelce responded, “Also the butthole & armpit of America”
Fans call out Kelce for his remark
The group was visibly shocked by Kelce’s remark but the former Eagles center quickly dismissed it as a joke. Before the show began, the broadcasters played an animated version of the program where fictional reporter Mina Kimes called Springfield, a fictional town in the Simpsons show "the Armpit of America’s Butt-Crack."
When the broadcaster tuned back to reality, Kelce carried on with the joke and called Texas the same. However, he quickly reprimanded his words as he tried explaining to everyone.
“Guys, it was just a joke because of what Mina said,” he further added, “We’re having fun here,” Kelce protested. “I love Dallas. We got the cowboy hats.”
However, some fans were taken back by Kelce’s remarks as one fan wrote:
“He craves attention ? .. since he no longer plays ? much like mahomes brother did .. try to get attention for themselves . the Manning brothers are not like that . they have class . where as he don’t.”
Another fan wrote:
“How long is this guy gonna last doing TV? lol”
Some fans went after Kelce’s background with one fan commenting:
“Coming from a guy who grew up in Ohio and played in Philly..”
Another fan wrote:
“Sub .500 record against cowboys”
One fan questioned Kelce’s luck in getting away with such comments on television.
“Howwww does he get away with saying that lol”
Jason Kelce reprimanded by wife Kylie over weird intimate advise
Jason Kelce is often called out by fans for his outspoken attitude. Last month, he faced a similar criticism for his advise on the podcast ‘New Heights’ when he recommended a funny advice to a fan in his mid-50s regarding intimacy.
Kelce advised:
“Start setting that thing up early. Women, they're weird. They don't just always want to have sex.”
However, he was quickly reprimanded for his words by his wife, Kylie, who took to X announcing a "dry phase" in bedroom for his weird comments.
