"He is so genetically ahead of everybody": Ex-Raider Isaac Rochell is all praise for former Browns teammate

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is one of the best players in his position in the NFL. Much has been said about the former No. 1 overall pick, but his performances keep surprising people around the league.

Garrett's former teammate Isaac Rochell joined the 'Good Morning Football' table on Thursday and didn't mince words when describing Garrett's traits and all the work he puts in to be the dominant player he's become in recent years.

"Yeah. I mean, this is what I always say about Myles. Myles beat all of us at birth like he was day one ahead of all of us. And I think there's not really anything else that needs to be explained. He is so genetically ahead of everybody, he's such a good player, but he also is such a technician.
"I mean, he obviously looks the part, but if you watch him rush like you have the highlights right now. He looks good rushing. He plays with great hands. He's efficient when he's coming around the corner, and he really gets the quarterback as fast and as efficiently as possible. So I mean, I have nothing but again, great things to say about him," Rochell, who was a member of the Browns in 2022, said.

Ever since his college days, Myles Garrett has looked like a dominant force. He has exceeded expectations in Cleveland despite not enjoying collective success.

Garrett was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and is a three-time First-team All-Pro, a two-time Second-team All-Pro and a five-time Pro-Bowler. He's recorded 305 tackles, 88.5 sacks and 17 forced fumbles in NFL.

Myles Garrett, Browns could make a deep playoff run in 2024

After showing a lot of resilience during the 2023 season, the Browns are keen to improve last year's performance with a fully healthy team. Kevin Stefanski made some changes in the coaching staff and the front office made intriguing moves, trading for Jerry Jeudy and signing Jameis Winston as Deshaun Watson's backup.

Myles Garrett hasn't shown signs of slowing down, and veterans such as Quinton Jefferson and Shelby Harris are interior menaces for opposing offenses, while Za'Darius Smith and Ogbo Okoronkwo provide more pressure off the edges.
