NFL analyst makes a wild claim regarding Baltimore Ravens' matchup against Panthers: "I'm calling it the Mayfield miracle"

The Carolina Panthers are set to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. Quarterback Baker Mayfield is expected to start for the Panthers as PJ Walker isn't available due to injury.

This will be a huge game for Baker Mayfield as he has an opportunity to redeem himself and get the starting quarterback job for next season. Mayfield will be a free agent this offseason, and as of now, it doesn't look like many teams are interested in signing him.

With P.J. Walker dealing with a high ankle sprain, Panthers’ HC Steve Wilks told reporters that Baker Mayfield will start Sunday vs. Baltimore.

Kevin Wildes, who is known for his upset alert segments on First Things First, has stated that the Baltimore Ravens could be up for a shock in Week 11. He is counting on Baker Mayfield and the Panthers to get the win. Here's what he said on First Things First:

"I'm calling it the Mayfield miracle. Baker in Baltimore. Oh no. The Mayfield miracle Baker in Baltimore, I get my alliteration screwed up looking for win number four against the Ravens, because he can't do it, Why not? He's done it three times before."

Chris Wildes added,

"Now granted, he's also lost five games, but he knows what it's like to beat Lamar and beat Harbaugh. So we've got that going for us. Baker's out here really putting himself on the line, headbutting his fellow teammates and he said quote, we work too hard not to enjoy it."

Whether or not the Carolina Panthers will be able to defeat the Baltimore Ravens remains to be seen, but Baker Mayfield is quite familiar with the opponent in Week 11.

While Mayfield was able to win three out of eight against the Ravens, he would love to get his fourth win over the Ravens on Sunday.

Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey in going against Baker Mayfield: “He still slings it when he has the opportunity. I’ve been on the opposing end when he’s lit us up.”

Although the Bengals are not far away from catching up with the Ravens, the team from Baltimore has been the best team in the AFC North. They are likely to win the division title and come playoff time, Lamar Jackson will want to step up and lead his team from the front.
