“He’s the thirst trap” - NFL analyst exhausted with Aaron Rodgers teasing retirement again

Another offseason, another Aaron Rodgers-laden offseason news cycle. When the quarterback walked off the field in Week 18 for perhaps the last time, many speculated about whether the quarterback would play again, including himself. As it stands, the quarterback appears to be weighing retirement once again.

In response to the resurgence of headlines about the quarterback's future, NFL analyst Bart Scott vented frustration with him while speaking on Get Up. Here's how he put it:

"How are you playing this game with us again? Here we are, again with you balling over when we gave you this contract, it was understood that you're going to be around for a couple of years. Nobody does a one-year deal and gives you that much-guaranteed money."

Will Aaron Rodgers walk away from football this offseason?

He continued, launching into a tirade:

"Why are we going through this? Why are you such a diva? Like, come on, man. He's like an Instagram model, man. He just wants to be seen. He's the thirst trap. Like I mean, come on, man. Like we gave you the money. Commit to us so we can go about our damn business."

In addition to the recent seemingly obligatory off-the-field comments bringing doubt to his future, the Packers quarterback wrapped up a vintage win streak. After 12 games, the quarterback was 4-8 and facing early elimination from the playoffs. However, just when it seemed hopeless for the team, they found a groove.

When Week 18 rolled around, the team was 8-8 and staring the playoffs in the face. All they needed to do was beat the Detroit Lions. A week after dominating the Minnesota Vikings, a team that had won comfortably against them in Week 1, the team imploded.

i guess aaron rodgers did his own research on how to get into the playoffs

The Lions, eliminated from the playoffs mere hours earlier, came out in force to stun the team in the 11th hour as the Packers finished 8-9. What's next for No. 12? Has he thrown his last pass?
