An unexpected decision by Tom Brady prompted Patriots owner Robert Kraft to totally lose his cool

Tom Brady might have left the New England Patriots, but his relationship with Robert Kraft goes beyond his time on the field. The Patriots owner has been closely associated with Brady for years, with the latter even making it to Kraft's wedding this year. However, Kraft has had some complaints about the now-Tampa Bay Buccaneers star.

When Brady announced his retirement in the early part of this year, everyone was surprised that he did not mention Kraft.

Apparently, the billionaire wasn't all too happy with the same. According to former Patriots linebacker Ted Johnson, Kraft was angry and screaming after the event. Considering that they have been friends for some time, Kraft's anger was understandable.

Johnson, while speaking with NBC Sports Boston, also described a rather unpleasant day at the office for some.

"I was told earlier tonight that ... it was an unpleasant day today at the executive offices in Foxboro, and that Robert Kraft, initially, when he first heard the news, was very upset."
"He was screaming and he was yelling and there was ... a temper tantrum that he threw after he read this IG post. So, he was not happy about it in Foxboro, and I'm not surprised."

Brady's long letter thanked everyone from the Bucs, his teammates, his love for football, and now ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, but not Kraft. He did, however, thank the Patriots while moving to Tampa in 2020.

Considering Tom Brady's run with New England, fans speculated that he could sign some sort of contract with the team to retire a Patriot.

While divorce rumors with Gisele Bundchen were making their rounds, Brady ended up attending Robert Kraft's wedding to Dr. Dana Blumberg.

Emmanuel Acho was among many questioning his appearance at the wedding, especially as it was before their loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They wanted him to focus on the game, which hasn't been up to the mark this season.

During a recent podcast appearance, Brady revealed that he was indeed losing sleep over the team and their current season.

"Well, I think it's consistency for, you know, so many positive plays and then undone by kind of untimely mistakes by our team. And it's not one player, it's not one position. Football's the ultimate team sport. I've always believed as a leader, you always take the blame and you always give the credit."

The QB even spoke about the 23-17 loss against the Cleveland Browns, in a match they could have won.
