Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker airs his difference in opinion with former US President

Former NFL star Herschel Walker has had his fair share of battles on the gridiron. But facing off and making your opinion heard in front of a former US President is a different tale. Walker, who is currently running for a senate seat in Georgia, recently revealed at a rally that he too has had a war of words with Trump. Especially about the latter's tweeting habits:

"I get mad at Donald too, sometimes. Some of his tweets, I didn't like them. I used to tell him, 'Don't do it.' He did it anyway, so it didn't matter."
Georgia GOP Senate nominee Herschel Walker says he told Donald Trump in the past to not tweet so much:

The former running back, who is a well-known conservative, had backed Trump earlier in the past. In fact, Trump too has come out in support of Walker by stating that his complicated history is not a problem "because the world is changing."

The former Dallas Cowboys star has had a rough time translating some of his on-field prowess into the world of politics due to his checkered past. More recently, news reports have hinted that the former NFL player was involved in a drug court program that utilizes unpaid prison labor.

Herschel Walker says he wants to help people in prison gain skills and “make a living.” A drug court program with ties to one of his main business partners uses unpaid labor and stands accused of mistreating addicts and offenders.

The report by AP also detailed how participants in the program were mistreated. They were pressured to work injured and compelled to attend religious services, regardless of their views. They also threatened people with imprisonment if their work was not up to standards.

Pro-lifer like Donald Trump, Herschel Walker now involved in abortion scandal

Herschel Walker has been vocal about his reservations regarding the matter of abortions. But recent news reports seem to suggest otherwise. The former Dallas Cowboys star had allegedly asked one of his former partners to get an abortion. To make matters worse, he even acknowledged on air to have paid $700 to the same women which many believe was the amount to reimburse the abortion fee.

This is not the first time the two-time Pro Bowler has found himself in such a situation. The mother of one of his children too had reported a similar incident to The Daily Beast alleging that he had paid for her abortion back in 2009. The GOP hopeful, though, has denied the allegations made by the woman, who has so far remained anonymous.
