How is Vontae Davis doing? His older brother, Vernon Davis, gives an update

Vernon Davis, the brother of former NFL cornerback Vontae Davis, has given an update on his brother's well-being after an automobile accident that saw him hit a disabled Toyota truck and subsequently led to his arrest.

Vontae was charged with a misdemeanor count of DUI per TMZ Sports.com.

Vernon Davis, a former NFL tight end, has provided an update on his brother in a talk with TMZ while at the Super Bowl in Arizona:

"He's just taking care of everything behind the scenes. I just told him I'm going to keep him in my prayers and continue to wish him the best and hope that he continues to do the right thing."

The 34-year-old former has plead not guilty to the charges.

Vontae Davis played 10 years in the NFL after being drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 2009.

Davis spent his first three years with Miami, grabbing nine interceptions in 40 games before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts in 2012. There, he became a two-time Pro Bowler in his six years with the organization, and the Colts made the playoffs in three consecutive years.

He signed with the Buffalo Bills in February 2018. However, he only played one game as he shockingly retired at halftime when the Bills faced the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 16, 2018.
